Four Florida Students Selected as 2010 U.S. Presidential Scholars
Four outstanding Florida high school students have been named 2010 U.S. Presidential Scholars in recognition of their academic achievement, service, leadership and creativity. Their accomplishments are a reflection of Florida’s ongoing commitment to produce the nation’s best and brightest students and represent what is possible through hard work and a commitment to purpose. Congratulations!The Florida 2010 U.S. Presidential Scholars are:

- Blaine A. Krauss*, Gibbs Senior High School, Pinellas County
- Tyler C. Laprade, Palm Bay High School, Brevard County
- Patrick G. Mangan, John Paul II Catholic High School, Leon County
