Miami-Dade College Student Named to Prestigious Scholar’s List
Eva B. Sevilla, a civil engineering Honors College student at the Miami-Dade College Wolfson Campus, has been named as one of 80 college students nationwide to be named as a 2010 Udall Scholar. Students were chosen based on their commitment to careers in the environment, health care or tribal public policy, leadership potential or academic achievement fields. Sevilla will receive a $5,000 scholarship to use for her junior and senior years and will be given an expense-paid trip to Tuscson, Ariz., this August to accept her award.
