Grant to Benefit Brevard Engineering Program

The PiraTech Engineering Program at Palm Bay High School in Brevard County will benefit from a $25,000 grant from AT&T to the Brevard Schools Foundation. The program helps students prepare for exciting engineering and technological careers through high-tech, relevant, hands-on projects and curricula that includes participation in engineering competitions. Students in the program learn about robotics systems, electronics, computer animation and programming, engineering, mechanical systems, communications, wireless routing, computer aided drafting and web design.
