Lake City Community College Honored with First Place Award

The National Council of Instructional Administrators (NCIA) recently recognized the mathematics department at Lake City Community College with a first place award in the Curriculum and Program Innovation category of the 2009 Exemplary Initiative Competition. The college received the award for the Quality Enhancement Plan program, “Math Up at LC3” which seeks to improve student access within a sequence of mathematics courses.
