Lake-Sumter Community College Instructor Named “Professor of the Year”
Sybil Brown, a mathematics instructor at Lake-Sumter Community College, was named the Florida Association of Community College’s “Professor of the Year” at their annual convention held Nov. 18 – 20 in Orlando. Brown was recognized for her teaching style, subject knowledge and presentation skills as she competed with two other finalists during the conference. She has been a full-time instructor at the college since 2005.
