Tallahassee Community College Awarded $1.7 Million
The U.S. Army Research Office has awarded Tallahassee Community College (TCC) $1.7 million to support a new Advanced Manufacturing Training Center. As part of collaboration with area manufacturers, the Economic Development Council of Tallahassee and Leon County, WORKFORCE Plus, Inc., and the Center for Excellence in Advanced Materials at Florida State University, the new center will provide job training and foster job creation in manufacturing and related technologies.
