Pensacola Junior College Culinary Team Wins Bronze Medal

A Pensacola Junior College student culinary team won a bronze medal at the American Culinary Federation Florida State Championship Sept. 11, 2009 in Orlando. The students competed with 16 other culinary teams, including six from other countries, to show off their culinary skills by preparing and serving a four-course menu to three judges in 90 minutes. The student team championships were designed to raise the standards of culinary excellence and professionalism among students, promote camaraderie and educational opportunities, and act as a staging area for research and development of culinary concepts.
