Jones High School Principal Honored With Award For Civic Affairs

The Hankins/Johnson Education Foundation of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated has announced the selection of Dr. Bridget Williams, principal of Jones High School in Orange County, as a 2009 Dr. Martin Luther King Drum Major Award honoree. Dr. Williams was chosen to receive the award under the civic affairs category.

The award is presented to deserving individuals or groups in the Central Florida community that reflect Dr. King’s ideals of scholarship, leadership and service. Dr. Williams will be recognized at the 23rd Annual MLK Commemorative Luncheon.
