Seminole Community College Recognized For High Outcomes
Seminole Community College’s (SCC) Respiratory Care Program at the Altamonte Springs Campus, was recently lauded for its high ratio of credentialed therapists by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
In its accreditation report, CoARC concluded that the SCC Respiratory Care program met or exceeded the national thresholds for 2004, 2005 and 2006.
CoARC computed the number of SCC graduates that went on to receive credentials as either Registered Respiratory Therapists or Certified Respiratory Therapists. It compared those numbers to national “thresholds,” pre-determined pass rates based on data collected by the committee.
