Florida High Schools Honored for Excellent Student Councils
The National Association of Student Councils (NASC) has recognized five Florida high schools with the National Gold Council of Excellence Awards. The NASC provides national recognition for student councils that consistently provide quality leadership activities and service to their schools and communities. This award provides broader recognition for the most worthy efforts of NASC member schools.
The National Gold Council of Excellence is awarded to the student councils that demonstrate the highest levels of leadership and activities as illustrated by the greater number of criteria they meet.
Congratulations to the following high school student councils that have been named 2008 NASC Gold Councils of Excellence winners.
Bay High School in Panama City, Fla. (Bay County)
Ft. Pierce Central High School in Ft. Pierce, Fla. (St. Lucie County)
Miami Palmetto Senior High School in Miami, Fla. (Miami-Dade County)
Ocoee High School in Ocoee, Fla. (Orange County)
Pace High School in Pace, Fla. (Santa Rosa County)
