Escambia County Teacher Receives National Recognition For Technology

Don Manderson, Director of Information Technology for the School District of Escambia County, recently received the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) “Making it Happen in Technology” award at the Florida Council of Instructional Technology Leaders meeting for his contributions to the successful integration of technology in education. The Making it Happen program is committed to working with state and national organizations and conferences to identify individuals who use technology in education. To date, more than 260 educators have been awarded this recognition.
