Bay County Sunshine State Scholar Award Recipient

A Crawford Mosley High School senior John Hawk is a recent recipient of the 2007–2008 Sunshine State Scholar Award. This award acknowledges outstanding performance academically in mathematics and science. A student from each high school in Bay District Schools is nominated, and a selection committee comprised of teachers, parents, and community members choose the recipient. John will now represent Bay District Schools at a regional competition in January with the possibility of further competition at the state level.
