Teacher Earns National Environmental Educator Honors
South Plantation High School teacher Allan Phipps was recently recognized as the SeaWorld/Busch Gardens/Fujifilm National Environmental Educator of the Year.
Winners receive a cash award in addition to an all-expense paid trip to the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) conference.
Since 1993, the awards have recognized the outstanding efforts of students and teachers across the country who are working at the grassroots level to protect and preserve the environment.
