Science Teacher a Winner at State Level

Melissa Cole, Life Science teacher at Milwee Middle School, was one of four teachers honored at the Florida Association of Science Teachers (FAST) Conference held in Gainesville this October. She received a $500 mini-grant to help finance the Super Cyber-Science Night to be held at Milwee Middle School on November 16th.

Melissa made a presentation at the FAST Conference on the organization, preparation and set-up she uses for Super Cyber-Science Night. She will also write an article about the fun-filled event as an inspirational learning experience for the students and parents at Milwee Middle School. The article will be published in the FAST News.
