Florida Achieves Perfect Score for Data Collection and Quality

Florida was one of only 11 states recognized by the Data Quality Campaign for having a comprehensive longitudinal data system that effectively tracks student progress from preschool through college. The campaign evaluates states on 10 key elements that are necessary toward building a high quality data system and for the third year in a row, Florida has met each one of the rigorous criteria.

Tallahassee Community College Awarded $1.7 Million
The U.S. Army Research Office has awarded Tallahassee Community College (TCC) $1.7 million to support a new Advanced Manufacturing Training Center.

Lake-Sumter Community College Awarded Workforce Grant
Lake-Sumter Community College was recently awarded a $95,000 grant through Workforce Central Florida to train electronic health record support technicians.
