Preparing For Your NSLP Review (CRE and SMI)
If you are up for an Administrative Review this school year, then this is the class for you! We will show you what you need to prepare for the review, what to expect from the review and discuss some of the most common findings found during a review. Due to the popularity of this class, we ask you to limit the number of attendees from your district to 2, and that you only attend if you have a review during the upcoming school year.

Provision 2 and 3 Training

This workshop is only for sponsors who participate or plan to participate on Provision II or III, commonly know as Alternative Meal Counting and Claiming Provisions, and are a Public School District sponsor on the National School Lunch and/or School Breakfast Program (NSLP) (SBP). At this workshop you will learn about counting and claim procedures under the provisions, updated state and federal regulations, financial impact, and controlling costs. It is highly recommended that individuals who play a vital role (i.e., Food Service Director, finance officer/planner, reimbursement claims official, etc.) in your NSLP attend this training. All Provision Sponsors MUST Attend This Workshop Prior To The 1st Operating Day Of The Base Year.

Contracting With A Food Service Management Company

Are you thinking about contracting out your food service operation or just want to stay current with the most up-to-date rules and regulations relating to Food Service Management Company (FSMC) procurement? We will assist you through the process, beginning by evaluating the current food service operation. Learn what responsibilities you can allow a food service management company to take over and those you cannot when operating under the Child Nutrition Programs. We will also explain the nuts and bolts of the procurement procedures, from developing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to awarding a contract. This Workshop Is REQUIRED For Self-Operating Sponsors Looking To Outsource Their Food Service.
