Education Jobs Fund

The Education Jobs Fund (Ed Jobs) program is a new Federal program created on Aug. 10, 2010, to provide funding assistance to states in order to save or create education jobs for the 2010-2011 school year through Sept. 30, 2012. All states are eligible to receive a portion of the total $10 billion allocation for this program dependent upon specific U.S. Department of Education application requirements. Jobs funded under this program include those that provide educational and related services for early childhood, elementary, and secondary education.
