Morning Events & Awards Ceremony Luncheon at Florida State University

*Note: The luncheon is free of charge for members of the All-Florida Academic Team and a maximum of two guests.
The RSVP must be submitted by March 15. Invitations will be sent in February, including details on how to submit your
online RSVP.
Afternoon Events at the Capitol

2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Capitol Experience (Meet at 2:30 p.m. on the front steps of the
Old Capitol for Photograph, Gallery Recognition, and Tours)
Group activities are completed at the end of the tour. However, you are welcome to view the
archives in the Old Capitol, visit your legislator’s office, or observe House or Senate proceedings.
Online RSVP Response (Yes or No ) Required for All Members of the All-Florida Team
In order to RSVP that you are planning to attend or unable to attend, you must go to
the online RSVP (address provided in your letter or e-mail invitation) and complete the
requested information. We need all members of the All-Florida Academic Team to complete
this information, even if you are not planning to attend the events in Tallahassee.
This will ensure that we can communicate important information about potential scholarships
to you and send medallions/resolutions to the proper addresses.
The website will provide you with the opportunity to RSVP for yourself and a maximum of
two (2) guests. You and your guests will not be charged for the luncheon. However, if you
or guests later find that you are unable to attend after submitting the RSVP, please contact
Dr. Brenda C. Spencer to cancel your RSVP. This will help us to minimize any unnecessary costs.
Please complete this online RSVP no later than March 15, 2007.

Suggested Attire: The suggested attire for the day is Professional or Business Casual with comfortable shoes for walking, particularly for the Capitol Experience.
Security: Security at the Capitol is heightened since the events of 9/11/01. Please be sure to bring a form of photo identification for yourself (and your guest, if applicable). You may wish to leave behind any unnecessary items as everyone will be required to pass through metal detectors upon entering the Capitol.
