HIV/STD Prevention, Pregnancy Prevention, and Human Sexuality Education Trainings
HIV/STD Prevention - Online Teacher Training Course
The HIV/AIDS Prevention Education Program of the University of South Florida Healthy Schools Project will offer two sessions of an online teacher training course entitled Implementing Effective Human Sexuality Education to Reduce Teen Pregnancy and STDs/HIV. This self-paced course will be offered free of charge through the Panhandle Area Education Consortium’s Florida Learns Academy, and can provide you with 20 hours of continuing education credit. Persons completing the course will receive a certification of completion (suitable for framing), a book of sexuality education teaching activities, and will be able to keep the required textbook Lessons for Lifeguards. (Those not completing the course will be asked to return the textbook.). Course dates are:
- September 16 - November 13, 2009
